Cleaning rollers and belts
Grading and processing of clean products leads to higher efficiency and accuracy.
Grading and processing of clean products leads to higher efficiency and accuracy. Tolsma-Grisnich offers various solutions for cleaning the products to be processed.
Working method
A distinction is drawn between dry and wet cleaning. During the process of unloading up to the point of processing the products, there are various times at which potatoes, for instance, can be dry-cleaned. Dry cleaning is mainly used to remove unwanted elements – such as soil, clods and stones – from the batch. Because the composition of a batch of potatoes can vary greatly depending on the origin, different dry cleaning methods are used. In addition to the systems, Tolsma-Grisnich also provides advice in the design phase in order to offer the customer the best solution possible.
Process
The dry-cleaning process is always considered on a case-by-case basis. Every application of the offered cleaning principles has specific advantages (e.g. intensity, capacity, accuracy, product-friendliness). Tolsma-Grisnich offers a wide range of equipment in order to provide customers with the right solution:
- Axial rollers
- Cleaning rollers (smooth, star, rubber, spiral)
- Sieve belts
- Pintle belts
The TG-Samro is subsequently used to remove stones and clods from the batch. For more information about Tolsma-Grisnich’s dry cleaning systems, please contact our agents.
